Climate Change Connections: Food, Health, & Nutrition

Climate change, agriculture, and nutrition are intrinsically linked. The impacts of climate change threaten a complex global food system that is already struggling to meet the needs of a growing population. This will no doubt exacerbate the existing burden on nutrition and human health.

  • How is climate change affecting food production and availability?

  • What impact will this have on human health?

  • Who will be the first affected by these implications?

  • As climate impacts worsen, what can we do to decrease the burden of under-nutrition and hunger?
