LOCATION: 6428 South McClintock Drive, TEMPE

Are you feeling the heat? Are you concerned about climate change? Retired NAU professor Stefan Sommer from the Northern Arizona Climate Change Alliance will give a dynamic visual presentation, answer questions, and moderate a discussion on the challenges of climate change and solutions you can help to implement.

Dr. Sommer will address these key issues and more:

  • Why are global temperatures rising faster now?

  • Is this related to rising CO2 emissions?

  • What about the jump in sea surface temperatures that started in 2023?

  • What are the comparative costs of paying for climate change impacts vs paying to shift to clean, renewable energy?
