Presented by NAZCCA
In this 2.5-hour organizing workshop, sponsored by NACCA, you will learn some fundamental community organizing skills. The workshop will help you learn how to form a strong core team; re-energize and recruit for an existing team; and offer some tips on how to sustain your team. It will also teach you some of the ABCs of developing and driving a campaign. You can find the outline for the workshop below.
The workshop will be offered by Dr. Kim Curtis who herself has a wide range of organizing experience, and who taught community organizing to undergraduate and graduate students at NAU for many years. Kim also started Fossil Free Arizona! which is a NAZCCA Community Action Team (CAT)
