TOPIC: Several of Flagstaff's guiding documents call for parking reform to manage traffic demand better, reduce carbon emissions and housing costs, improve economic vitality, and encourage alternative transportation modes. Flagstaff is not the first city to call for change - Buffalo famously eliminated parking mandates citywide in 2017. The Senior Planner for Buffalo, Chris Hawley, graciously agreed to a presentation & discussion of the real-world impacts on his city. If you're curious about parking reform and what it could mean for Flagstaff, please join us on April 17th.
