Attend the next CCE/A Workshop presented by Arizonans for Community Choice (AZ4CC). Henry Herndon of New Hampshire. Henry was a key player in bringing CCE/A enabling legislation to New Hampshire. That was in 2019. Today more than 30% of the NH population is enrolled in a CCA/E (NH calls it Community Power). And Henry helped form the Community Power Coalition of NH (CPCNH) which is the aggregator for NH’s 56 CCA/Es. Today he is CPCNH’s Director of Member Services. Together CCA/E customers in NH are saving on average 26% per month on their energy bills through a default rate plan that includes almost 25% renewable energy.

• How he built relationships with the cities that led to the formation of the Coalition and these cities were the first to form CCAs

• What it took – and hurdles fought -- to get enabling legislation passed in NH

• The governing structure of NH CCAs and their successes

• What AZ cities can do today to prepare for CCA in the future
