The Prescott Public Climate Action Team (CAT) began in 2019 with activists coming together in solidarity throughout the Prescott area in support of the call to action from Greta Thunberg for the Global Climate Strike. We mobilized over 500 environmental activists to march, sing, chant and give personal testimonials regarding the climate crisis and demands for system changes and environmental protections we need to begin to heal our planet.
We continue public demonstrates for climate justice, through the pandemic with shoe strikes, educating and empowering people to join our movement and take action to combat the climate crisis.
