It's time for ACTION! We've been collecting signatures, talking with people, and organizing. NOW we're ready to request that the City of Cottonwood develop a Climate Action Plan. We are, also, requesting that the City declares a Climate Emergency, as over 1300 local governments in 25 countries have done and committed to action to drive down emissions at emergency speed. We invite you to speak, arrive a few minutes early and sign up-with a 5 minute rule. We need to fill the council chamber with concerned citizens and spill out onto the street! It is the power of the people and our voice that will help protect our rivers and be proactive on climate action planning for each community.
