NAZCCA will feature a presentation and discussion on issues of social justice and gender inequity in a changing climate. Please join us for "Climate Change: What’s Gender Got to Do with It?" by Dr. Frances Riemer.

Discussing higher risks for women, greater burdens, and the inequities preventing women from fully contributing to climate related planning, policy-making, and implementation.The discussion will include opportunity for Q&A. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Frances Julia Riemer is Professor of Educational Foundations and Associate Faculty, former Director of Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Northern Arizona University. She focuses on issues of equity, gender, development of sustainable communities, cultural differences, and social organizations of community, school, and workplace.
